As a family with five dogs, we know the importance of our four legged friends. A holiday wouldn't be a holiday without them. You can see them, above, enjoying the Gogwell lawn in the summer.
Gogwell is surrounded by beautiful countryside with a multitude of footpaths. The pubs (that we go to) allow furry friends and upon arrival back at the house there is a an outdoor tap to wash off the deep red Devon mud. Dog towels are provided. After the walk the dogs can either dry off in the dog kennel, fully equipped with a heat lamp and dog beds, or in the boot room.
Saunton Sands beach and the dunes behind, the Tarka Trail, Exmoor, Dartmoor, the canal and the River Exe are all heavenly for dogs.
