Creative and Work Retreats in Mid-Devon

The barn at Gogwell House is a light, spacious studio space suitable for painting courses, meetings, exercise classes, yoga and larger-scale entertaining.

The room has oak floors, a wood-burning stove, high ceilings and gothic-style arched windows, which make it a perfectly uplifting place to be.

The barn is a separate building, 12 metres from the house. It also has a superking bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in shower and French windows into the garden.

Where a Group Stays

Gogwell has eight bedrooms, usually set up as five superking beds and two twin rooms, and four bathrooms. The kitchen has an Aga, two extra ovens and hobs, two dishwashers and an American fridge, and there are cooks in the area who will come to Gogwell and cook for a group.

Buzzards House sleeps 14. Its TV and sitting room has a desk with great views into the garden, and the Wifi is really good.
