Large Group Accommodation in Devon

Gogwell House and Buzzards House each sleep 14 in the Mid-Devon countryside, which makes them a good choice for family milestones, reunions and friends travelling together.

Gogwell House

Gogwell has eight bedrooms, usually set up as five superking beds and two twin rooms. A dressing room holds two small beds for children and we also have a cot. There are four bathrooms, with showers in all and baths in two.

The kitchen opens into the dining room, onto the veranda and out to the garden. It has an Aga, two extra ovens and hobs, two dishwashers and an American fridge. There are two sitting rooms with open fires, and a wood burning stove in the dining room.

Outside there is a fenced garden with a croquet lawn, orchards, hammocks and a swing, a heated 15m pool, and a games room in the old stables with a ping pong table, darts, table football and more. A separate barn, 12 metres from the house, has a yoga studio and an accessible superking bedroom for anyone who would like to stay a little apart from the main party.

Buzzards House

Buzzards is arranged around an oak-floored open-plan hub with a wood burning stove, deep sofas and a large oak dining table. A separate TV and sitting room, a conservatory and a south facing veranda give a group room to spread out. The kitchen has two ovens, a large gas hob, a coffee machine, a large fridge freezer, an extra drinks fridge and an extra freezer. The Wifi is good.

Both houses have a boot room for coats, boots and dog beds, and dogs are welcome.
