Holiday Cottages in Mid Devon

The Gogwell Collection is three holiday homes within a few miles of each other in Mid Devon, near Tiverton. Each has its own character, from a weekend for two to a gathering of 14.

Which house suits you

Gogwell House sits at the top of Newte's Hill at the end of its own half-mile drive, with views out to the Sidmouth Gap. It has eight bedrooms, a heated 15m pool open from April to October, a yoga barn, a games room and a croquet lawn. It suits large family gatherings, celebrations and retreats.

Buzzards House sleeps 14, between the Little Dart and the National Trust's Buzzards Wood. It has an oak-floored open-plan hub with a wood burning stove, a conservatory beside the river, a south facing veranda and large gardens. It suits groups who want to walk from the door.

Spring Cottage is a renovated one-up, one-down cottage in the woods near Buzzards Wood, with a superking bed, a free-standing bath, a wood burner and its own orchard. It suits couples.

Why Mid Devon

Mid Devon sits between Exmoor and Dartmoor, with the Exe Valley, the Grand Western Canal and National Trust woodland close by. Exmoor National Park is 17 miles from Gogwell and Dartmoor is 43 miles. Tiverton Parkway station has trains to London in around two hours.

Dogs are welcome at all three houses, though we do not allow pets upstairs.
